NOTE: Councillor Surgeries were restarted in December 2021 but these are now only every two weeks rather than every week as before. Councillor Surgeries were cancelled from March 2020 – December 2021. They did not take place either in person or online.

Greater Manchester Mayor 

Bev Craig

Bev Craig is the Mayor of Greater Manchester Mayor. She was elected in August 2026 following the resignation of Andy Burnham.

The Greater Manchester Combined Authority is made up of the ten Greater Manchester councils and works with other local services, businesses, communities and other partners to improve the city-region. Andy Burnham has a Cabinet drawn from the ten Greater Manchester Local Authorities although none of them are directly elected to these roles.

  • NOTE: Hannah Spencer was elected as a Green MP in 2026 at a parliamentary by-election following the resignation of Andrew Gwynne

Members of the European Parliament

These were the MEPs for our area until January 2020 when the UK left the EU and entered a “transition” period until January 1st 2021. The UK no longer has any representation at the EU.
